About Klewism Jewelry
I wanted to wear jewelry that no one else had. To do so, I started making it myself.
It all started in my basement studio in Northern New Jersey in 2007, after a visit to the store "Beads on Fifth" in Manhattan where I purchased several spools of copper wire. Being an avid "Do-It-Yourself-er", it was only natural that I would take my alteration mania beyond clothing into jewelry.
Soon my painting & collage workspace was overrun by wire clippings and fantastic forms of wire in varying stages of becoming "wearable". I was hooked.
I instantly fell in love with the medium, and the love has grown exponentially since that time.
Everything I make I absolutely love—and if I don't love it, it is not finished.
